  • Know Your Substrate

We pride ourselves on the versatility of our Joinery spray adhesives. However, whilst our solutions can stick virtually anything together, they’ve been carefully engineered by the team at Quin Global to work effectively on specific substrates. Regardless of the job you’ve got for the day, you can rest assured that we’ve got a perfect match. Some of our Joinery customer’s most commonly-bonded substrates include

  • Plywood: Try top-notch products like L19, L24 and L68
  • MDF: Achieve unbeatable results with adhesives including L42 and L90, L12 and L20

Working on other decorative materials like veneers, solid laminates or plasterboard? Check out our full product selection and filter by substrate to find the perfect adhesive.

  • Know Your Adhesive

Some jobs call for a highly-specific adhesive. Regardless of your substrate, we’ve got a range of solutions that offer features that are totally unique to the market, with several products enjoying official endorsement from some of the biggest brands in the world of joinery. Knowing about some of these features can help you select an adhesive that draws the line between good results and perfect results.

  • Platinum Adhesives: High heat resistance, excellent green strength and a bond that’s guaranteed for life. Notably, LP61 is Fire Rated Class Zero, whilst LP64 eliminates the risk of rippling/telegraphing.
  • Endorsed Adhesives: We’ve collaborated with some of the best brands in the industry to offer unbeatable joinery results. We’re proud to hold official endorsement on a number of our adhesives, with L42 endorsed by CorianL90 endorsed by Westag; L66 endorsed by HI-MACS & Avonite and L68 endorsed by Kydex.
  • Safety Features: Where safety is a top priority, you can count on TensorGrip. Whilst we offer non-flammable and fire-rated adhesives, we also offer a range of solutions that are free from dichloromethane and minimise the presence of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) wherever possible.

  • Know Your Spray Pattern

We’re on a mission to make work easier, safer and more comfortable for thousands of joiners the world-over. We’re making this  mission a reality with a variety of spray pattern technologies, each designed to perform across various tasks and substrates. Each pattern is identifiable according to its own unique icon on the label of your canister or aerosol spray.

Please follow our most important piece of advice: always check what type of spray pattern your adhesive has before spraying! It’s crucial you ensure what type of spray pattern will be released from your canister or aerosol spray. Failure to identify this can lead to improper applications and undesired results:

  • Web Spray: The easiest visual comparison that can be made to a Web spray is that of a spider’s web, hence the name!
  • Mist Spray: Mist spray adhesives are released from the container as a fine mist, which creates a light and consistent droplet pattern on the surface it is sprayed upon.
  • Pebble Spray: Pebble sprays are similar to Mist sprays however the pattern is made up of larger droplets, but still giving a smooth and consistent pattern on the surface.
  • Snowflake Spray: Snowflake spray adhesives have a high build, large flake spray pattern which resembles snowflakes across the surface for single-sided bonds.

  • Know Your Application Method

When it comes to using our spray adhesives, the process is simple: set up, spray and get to work. However, getting the very best results can often depend on how you apply the adhesive, and this can differ slightly from product to product. Here’s a couple of tips of making sure you get your application method right from day one:
