We’ve shared some Tensor Tips on getting your experience with TC49 off to the best possible start:
- TensorGrip TC49 has been designed to be applied to one side of the surfaces to be bonded together, However, It can be used for double sided bonding where required.
- Before you start your bonding work, ensure your working surfaces are clean and dry.For best results, the temperature of TC49 and the surfaces being bonded should be between(16 degrees C - 27 degrees C). Prior to use, check compatibility of TC49 by spraying a small test patch of the adhesive on the substrate.
- Spray TC49 approx. 20-30 cm away from the surface, applying a uniform, even coat of adhesive If necessary, spray another coat of adhesive in areas that appear to need more.
- Allow 1 - 2 minutes for TC49 to tack off until no adhesive transfers to the knuckle when touched.
- Adhere surfaces and press together with adequate pressure.
- If the spray tip clogs on the professional spray gun in use with the 22ltr canister, unscrew the spray tip from the gun and clean with solvent such as lacquer thinner or acetone (do NOT use a pin on the spray tip orifice).
