Product Warranty

In the event of any adhesive bond failure of the Product caused by the direct result of a defect in the material or manufacture of the Product, Quin Global or Tensor Adhesives will at its option replace or repair, supply an equivalent product, or pay for doing one of these.

This warranty does not apply where the Product has been used in any manner not in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions plus the instructions given by the substrate manufacturer, or the reuse of the Product after its initial installation. Quin Global will need to be satisfied that any defect in its Product is attributable to material or manufacture defect (and not another cause) before this warranty applies.

Other than as expressly set out in this warranty, and the guarantees that cannot be excluded under The Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) (and any other law), Quin Global excludes all other warranties and guarantees with regard to the Product including all guarantees and warranties that may apply at law.

To the extent that it is able to do so, Quin Global excludes all liability for loss and damage (including consequential loss) in connection with the Product. This exclusion does not apply where the Product is sold to a consumer and is a good of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household use or consumption.

The following statement is provided where the Product is supplied to a buyer who is a “consumer” under the Australian Consumer Law: Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. The benefits of this warranty are in addition to other rights or remedies of the consumer under law in relation to the goods or services to which the warranty relates.

Notification of a warranty claim must be made to Quin Global prior to any return of the Product.

To make a claim under this warranty, you must contact Quin Global +61 1300 857 846. All expense of claiming the warranty will be borne by the person making the claim.

Quin Global may require documentation supporting the claim to be provided.

It is the responsibility of the installer to ensure that the adhesive is fit for purpose and for the intended substrates to be used.

Warranty Terms & Conditions

Period of Cover:

  1. This Warranty applies for a period of 10 years in respect of the system application of TensorGrip Adhesive from the first date of invoice rendered by Quin Global relating to the relevant goods or services subject to Warranty claim.

Warranty Exclusions:

  1. The Warranty shall not apply to those defective goods where, and to the limited extent that, the manufacturer of those defective goods (or a component of those defective goods) has provided the manufacturer’s own warranty against the defect directly in favour of the Customer. In such case, the Customer shall rely upon the warranty provided by the manufacturer to the extent that it warrants against the defect.
  2. The Warranty will only apply in respect of goods where the Supplier has received payment in full for such goods.
  3. The Warranty shall not apply in respect of:
    1. loss or damage caused by factors beyond the Supplier’s reasonable control;
    2. any indirect or consequential loss or damage of any kind; or
    3. loss or damage caused by incorrect or reckless use of goods or modification or adjustments made to goods, including but not limited to any failure to comply with the Supplier’s or manufacturer’s specifications, data sheet, instructions or other recommended terms of use or installation.
  4. The Warranty shall not apply if the Customer has failed to give the Supplier written notice of the defect(s) within 7 days of the alleged defect first coming to the attention of the Customer or its staff. Notice must include the following information:
    1. a fully executed copy of this Warranty;
    2. a copy of the invoice rendered by the Supplier relating to the relevant goods or services subject to Warranty Claim;
    3. a detailed description of the complaint.
  5. To the maximum extent permitted by law, this warranty is in place of all other warranties, guarantees or conditions, expressed or implied, to the intent that the Supplier’s total liability and obligations in respect of this Warranty shall be limited, at the Supplier’s option to either:
    1. replacing or repairing the defective or damaged goods supplied by the Supplier; or
    2. refunding the supply price of the defective or damaged goods supplied by the Supplier.
    3. Where any goods or services are acquired or used for business purposes, the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 are excluded and replaced with this Warranty.
