What could possibly be better than relaxing on the beach in St. Maarten? How about getting to race in the Heineken Regatta surrounded by boats you have watched and helped build?! That's exactly what our marine adhesive sales expert Rehling de Roos got to do early this month.

The Heineken Regatta is a 4 day boat racing event that started in 1980 and takes place in St. Maarten each year. It attracts over 2,500 sailors and 1,000 supporters from over 37 different countries. Each day is filled with boat races followed up with live music at night and an awards ceremony for that day's races. On the last day of the event our marine adhesive expert Rehling de Roos was able to board one of the beautiful boats and watch the race from the open sea with a Tensor boat flag raised high. She got to watch a number of boats race head to head, many of which were built using the TensorGrip M30 infusion molding spray adhesive.

Now what sets TensorGrip M30 apart from other boat building adhesives is that it safely fuses laminating materials to structural core surfaces which ultimately becomes part of the polymer matrix and WILL NOT interfere with the curing process of vinyl esters, polyesters or styrene resin. We couldn't be more proud or more excited to have had one of our own out there to experience such an amazing event and meet with some wonderful boat distributors. She even got to see Akon live the last night there and drink from a coconut!
