Tell us about Sawtech. What makes this TensorGrip Joinery distributor so unique in the market?
Sawtech was established in 1997 and we’re proud to have been in the business for over 25 years. We’ve grown exponentially over those decades to become the premier provider of services and products associated with the fit-out, joinery, metal working and paper industries. Within those industries, we serve professionals including kitchen manufacturers, office fit-out contractors and bedroom manufacturers.
What makes us unique is our talented staff. Our employees have decades of combined experience in different areas including sales and sharpening - not to mention lots of first hand joinery experience!

Tell us a bit about your role with Sawtech. What do you do and what areas of the UK do you serve?
I joined Sawtech in November 2020. I am employed as the Sales Manager to manage
existing customers and to bring new customers to Sawtech. Before joining the firm, I had a background in engineering/fabrication/welding. I moved to field sales around 10 years ago and I’ve never looked back!
My typical week consists of visiting existing customers to push sales on existing purchases and to also offer new products. I spend around 30% of my week prospecting potential new customers.

What TensorGrip Joinery products do you currently offer?
Here at Sawtech we currently offer a vast range of TensorGrip products including, F20, GF20, L12, L17, L20,L24, L40, L66, LP61, LP64. Our range includes the entire TensorGrip Joinery Range, which provides an adhesive for virtually any joinery task.
Back in January I visited Quin headquarters for training in their newly opened Experience Centre. This experience was invaluable as this now enables me to visit customers to demo the Tensor range, resulting in new customers and sales!
