Tensornacious Defined

Have you ever had this experience?

You've perfectly prepared your substrates.  Your glue is close at hand.  You're ready to bond and get on with the next part in the process.  Now is the moment of truth!  You spray your glue and wait a minute or so for it to tack off.  It's ready.  You place the substrates together and apply pressure to make sure they're going to bond.   You pick at the edge to test the strength.  And to your disgust, disappointment, grief, it comes apart.

If you've had this experience, you'll know it's not pleasant.  We've had it too...in the test lab.  But then we tweak the formula, then we re-test.  It takes an average of 10-15 tries to get a perfect formula from scratch.  But the end result is a tensornacious bond to whatever substrate we're aiming to find the adhesive for.

Tensornacious?  What's that?

Ah. Good question.   Let this be your word of the week!

Tensornacious - te·sor·na·cious /tənˈsôr nā SHəs/ - Tending to keep a firm hold of something; clinging or adhering closely, involving a Tensor branded adhesive. "a tensoracious grip"

If it's tensornacious, it's bound to be bonded with the best adhesive.  Tell us where you need or have used a tensornacious bond!  Contact us, or post on social media using #UnleashTensor!
