Are you looking to use spray adhesives for solid surface applications? We have the solution for you!

Solid surfaces can be found everywhere, from your kitchen worktops to the cladding of exterior buildings. A major appeal of solid surface is its impermeability. Solid surface sinks can be joined to the countertop surface with no gaps, which eliminates areas for water to collect and bacteria to grow.

Where do our adhesives come into it?

Corian and Hi-Macs are all examples of solid surfaces and are usually a blend of acrylic and polyester resins. Our adhesives are used in slab work and domestic ladder framing to make the process quicker. Below we go into further detail on the uses and benefits.

What are the benefits to me?

  • Increase in production
  • Speeding up of processes
  • A lifetime guarantee

Are you looking to speed up your processes?

When you bond with silicone, you put a bead down and then it must be clamped for 8 hours. When using our spray adhesive, you have a fully bonded piece that you can move and use in 4 minutes. Taking your bonding process down from 8 hours to 4 minutes.

Do you want to increase your production?

The biggest issue manufacturers face is workspace. Using our spray adhesives means you can move onto the next part of the process, without leaving large benches to dry that can't be moved; therefore, removing the need for large workspaces.

Are you looking for a flat glue line?

When it comes to solid surfaces, achieving a flat glue line is essential. Using silicone, you can see the joint line and the substrate will then need to be sanded down. Whereas using our spray adhesive, there is no joint line and therefore no sanding required.

Where can you use our adhesives in solid surface work?

Commercial uses.

In commercial projects, solid surfaces are typically used to make items such as reception desks and counter tops for communal areas and meeting areas. Our adhesives are used for bonding sheets of MDF to the underneath of the solid surface, to provide additional strength to the final product.

Domestic uses.

Domestic work isn't as extensive as the commercial uses and tends to be used for kitchen countertops, bathrooms etc. Our adhesives are used to bond strips of MDF to the underneath of worktops, to give them extra strength, this is known as ladder framing.
